What’s Semi-Virtual?

What’s a Semi-Virtual Running Event?

A semi-virtual running event is one where runners are able to run the actual race course at their leisure over a 2 day period of time while adhering to all social distancing and masking mandates.

Step 1: Register online via this link – https://snohomish.enmotive.com/events/register/2020-evergreen-half

Step 2: Stop by Snohomish Running Company anytime between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm Saturday or Sunday, August 15th or 16th and pickup your bib number. We will also have Clif Gels and nuun single serve tablets for all participants.

Step 3: Head out and run either the Half Marathon or 5 mile course. If you are able to find a ride to Getchell Trailhead then you will be able to run the actual Evergreen Half Marathon Course. Otherwise, you can also start on The Centennial Trail and complete an out and back from the Finish Line. We will have a start line setup along with mile markers on course. We will also have portable restrooms available on course. However, we are not allowed to have chip timing, aid stations or traffic control on course. You will be fully responsible for yourself when running and will this will not be a supported running event. We also are not allowed any tables, tents or vendors at the finish line.

Step 4: After you finish upload your results to the Evergreen Half Strava Group and post on Instagram tagging @Snohomish_Running_Co.

Step 5: Return to Snohomish Running Company to receive your finisher medal and race tank. We will have random prizes for those who post on social media. We will not be giving awards or have a leader board because we don’t want people trying to run in front of cars or push passed their necessary limits. We want everyone to be cautious and live to run another day.
